Letters from the North Pole – Winter 2020

Hurry, quickly we need your letters to Santa so the McCall Public Library can get them to the North Pole in time for a personalized response from Santa himself.  Drop off you letters in person at the McCall Public Library by Wednesday, December 15th or fill it out online by enrolling here and we will make sure your child's message gets to Santa.   What do you need to include: -Return Address -Child's Name (legible please) -Fun letter

Full Moon Snow Series – Winter 2020

McCall Parks and Recreation has teamed up Valley County Pathways to host a series of Full Moon snow hikes on the North Valley Trail (next to the Activity Barn).  Join us each full moon from 6:00-8:00pm for fun under the bright skies at night!  Some snow shoes available. McCall Library Expansion Bond Election

  On May 18th, 2021, the Library Renovation and Expansion Bond Proposal will be on the ballot for City of McCall voter consideration. The proposed investment would renovate and expand the current library, bringing the 50-year-old building into ADA compliance and ensure accessibility for all ages and mobilities. The 2021 proposal includes a bond amount not to exceed $4,200,000, while a large portion of the estimated cost would be paid for with cash, grants and pledges already received in the amount of $2,300,000. Chamber “Spring Fling” Yard Sale

Spring cleaning time! The Chamber “Spring Fling” Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 29th.  Donations for the sale will be accepted at the Chamber Office Monday, Thursday, and Friday, from 12 p.m.-3 p.m.,  starting April 1st.  All yard sale proceeds go toward the July 4th Celebration Fireworks. Fourth of July will look very familiar in McCall this year. Family and friends can celebrate this holiday together with ice cream cones, barbecues and events showing patriotic pride throughout the community, as we celebrate Independence Day.  Fourth of July will once again have the firework show over Payette Lake!
